VEAS meets and discusses opportunities with business delegation from Ho Chi Minh City

The Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association in Sydney welcomed the delegation from Brands Vietnam to our headquarter on 6 November 2019.

The delegation was led by Ms Phan Thi My Yen, director of Brands Vietnam and Vice President/General Secretary of Science and Technology Business Associations, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association. The Association was established in 1992 and has since attracted thousands of member businesses nationally.

Representing VEAS in the meeting with the delegation are members of the executive committee: Mr Nguyen Duc Quang - Vice President, Mr Pham Vu Lam - Vice President and General Secretary, Mr Nguyen Hai Dang, head of legal department and Mr Tran Dang Hue - head of external relations department. During the conversation, both sides gave each other an introduction and exchanged partnership opportunities as well as discussed potential networking activities between their members.

This meeting signals a vision of the Executive Committee in broadening VEAS’ network and partnership with other associations in order to explore new networks and connection, furthermore assisting member businesses.

At the end of the meeting, Mr Tran Dang Hue, who is also the CEO of VA Trade Promotion alongside his position at VEAS, signed a trade representative agreement with two businesses: Beowulf Blockchain and Nam My Education. Beowulf is a Decentralised Cloud Network for Communication Services, whose key products are an innovative communication system built on QR code for corporate communication and personal use called Quickom, and a platform allowing remote students and professors to communicate via distance called Victoria.

Nam My Education is a system of schools at different levels: from kindergarten to English schools. The company also appointed VA Trade Promotion as its representative in Australia to attract investment and partners. The signing was witnessed by Mr Nguyen Duc Quang and Mr Pham Vu Lam.
